Offerings
Vermont-Based Therapy
I hold 50-minute psychotherapy sessions for Vermont residents ages 13 and up, with options for in-person sessions in Brattleboro, VT and telehealth sessions over a secure platform called Simple Practice.
Healing From a Distance
For those who are not residents of Vermont, I offer healing sessions via video and telephone. Please schedule a free initial consultation to discuss a healing approach tailored to your needs. Out of state clients may choose to work with me as a supplement to ongoing therapy, to work on a specific issues, or for ongoing support.
Who I Work With
Choosing a practitioner can be overwhelming, especially if you’re trying to pick someone from the internet to support you through vulnerable work. You have the right to ‘shop around’ for a therapist, talk to me before committing to ongoing therapy, and ask questions about my strengths and limitations.
We might might a good fit if…
- You’re a teenager or young adult
- You’re a white person who wants to address internalized racism for the very first or 50th time
- You love your body and want to bring it into your therapy sessions
- You’re afraid of your body and things like yoga and meditation feel scary
- You identify as sick, disabled, or crazy and are looking for acceptance, not “fixing”
- You’re queer, radical, weird, tough, tender, confused, and/or trying to figure out how to take up space in the world.
- You want to talk about suicide as a normal part of your thought process without being afraid
- You think therapy could be helpful, but you’re skeptical of the process. Maybe you’ve had a bad experience with therapy before, or maybe your therapist was highly skilled but just didn’t understand your identity or lifestyle
